New Market Skills Center Career Fair 

We are looking for volunteers to spend some time with students in the Centralia area. Your team can show students what working in an automotive shop is really like. Share the skills you look for, talk about training and apprenticeship opportunities, and offer a simple hands-on activity if you’d like. You can also introduce your shop, discuss current openings, and connect with students who may be a great fit in the future.

Students are especially interested in learning what a typical workday looks like, how to prepare for an interview, and what it takes to get started. Your experience can help them picture a path they may not have considered before.

• Set-up: Please arrive between 8:00am-9:00am to set-up. We will have a table and chairs ready for you.
• Hospitality: There will be coffee, tea, water, and pastries in the Student Services Office next to the Lecture Hall. Lunch will be provided between 10:20-11:00am in the Conference Room next to our main office in building A. Staff will walk you over at that time.
• Location: New Market Skills Center Lecture Hall (Building D)- 7299 New Market St. SW, Tumwater, WA 98501

• Promote your shop and highlight current or future employment opportunities.
• Build relationships with potential hires before they enter the workforce.
• Support the iTAC Apprenticeship Program and help strengthen the future of our industry.
